Here at GroupM, the Inclusive Insights & Analytics team is a specialty group that integrates data + culture + marketing strategy. We’re looking for a dynamic data driven Sr. Analyst to join energetic marketing consultants focusing on analytics and strategy. Working across the GroupM portfolio of agencies, we take a data first approach in identifying and quantifying the impact growth segments (i.e., Hispanic, African American/Black, Asian and LGBTQ+) have on our client’s business. As a data agnostic marketer, you will utilize a variety of data sources (proprietary and secondary) to tell compelling, multi-dimensional stories of who consumers are, how best to reach them, and how clients can relevantly engage with them to grow their business. YOUR IMPACT
· Well versed on qualitative and quantitative research tools and methodologies.
· Experience with a variety of data sources needed to generate strong consumer insights (MRI/ Simmons, IRI Nielsen Data, Mintel, YouGov, NPD, Brand Health Metrics, etc.)
· Will manage multiple projects/ assignments independently from start to completion.
· Provide support in client account management and special projects.
· Interface with key internal stakeholders & vendors and advocate on behalf of team.
· Bring new ideas and creative solutions to challenges.
· Strong awareness of cultural shifts trends and how they impact business.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
· Educational and/or ample professional experiences within the Media/Marketing Research, Analytics, Marketing/Data Strategy space.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (very strong in Excel) and data visualization (Tableau, Power BI etc.)
· Capable of building data driven presentations independently (i.e. PowerPoint)
· Ability to translate data into actionable insights and cohesive narratives.
· Strong time management and organizational skills.
· Possess a positive attitude and willingness to step out of your comfort zone.
· Equally successful working independently and collaboratively.
· Must be reliable and proactive.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Dashboard building and reporting capabilities preferred.
The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
