Area Director of Revenue

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is looking for an Area Director of Revenue Management to lead revenue strategy for three of Milwaukee’s most iconic hotels: Hilton Milwaukee, The Pfister Hotel, and Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel. You’ll oversee multi-property revenue management, optimize pricing and digital strategies, and collaborate with leadership teams to drive exceptional results.
What will you be doing?
- Lead Revenue Strategy: Develop and implement customized pricing, distribution, and business mix strategies to maximize revenue across diverse properties.
- Market Sales & Positioning: Analyze STR and Amadeus data, maintain pace reporting, and drive pricing strategies that keep our hotels ahead of the competition.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with General Managers, Commercial Leaders (Sales & Marketing), hotel ownership, asset managers, and third-party partners (OTAs, MetaSearch) to align and enhance performance.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Own the forecasting and budgeting process, ensuring accuracy in financial projections and market trends.
- Optimize Digital Marketing: Manage and refine digital placements on Expedia, Booking.com, and MetaSearch platforms to drive bookings and increase visibility.
- Maximize Operational Efficiency: Partner with front office teams to enhance sell-out efficiency and revenue optimization—especially for last-minute bookings.
- Design Promotions & Packages: Develop seasonal specials, packages, and targeted promotions that drive revenue during key demand periods.
- Monitor Business Travel & Contracts: Analyze corporate travel and crew contract production to ensure steady and profitable growth.
What are we looking for?
- We’re searching for an analytical, strategic, and collaborative revenue leader who can balance data-driven decisions with big-picture thinking.
- Proven Expertise: 4-6+ years of multi-property revenue management experience in hospitality.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret STR, Amadeus, and forecasting reports.
- Hospitality & Business Acumen: Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Hospitality Management (2-year degree + 6 years of experience OR 4-year degree + 4 years of experience).
- Strategic Communication: Ability to translate complex revenue insights into actionable strategies for ownership and property teams.
- Relationship Building: Skilled at managing partnerships with OTAs, third-party sites, and internal stakeholders to maximize hotel performance.
