Account Director (Brand and Execution)
The Role
We are seeking an Account Director to lead one of our biggest accounts (multi-billion B2B business) within our growing marketing firm. This role is pivotal in driving brand development, campaign launches, and execution. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leading strategic planning, ensuring flawless execution, and fostering strong relationships that drive growth.
As an Account Director, you will collaborate closely with our Strategy and Creative teams, overseeing integrated marketing programs from inception to execution. You will also play a key role in business development, helping to expand client relationships and identify new opportunities. This position reports to the COO and offers a clear path for career growth into broader account leadership roles.
Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a major $500K+ account, acting as a strategic advisor and trusted partner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, ensuring alignment with their business objectives.
- Lead client communications, meetings, and presentations, effectively articulating strategic insights and campaign performance.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Lead the development of brand strategies, marketing plans, and campaign roadmaps in collaboration with Strategy and Creative teams.
- Ensure that marketing initiatives align with client business goals, target audiences, and industry best practices.
- Oversee the execution of multi-channel campaigns, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with excellence.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams, ensuring seamless coordination between Strategy, Creative, and Activation functions.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire junior account team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Proactively manage potential challenges, providing solutions that ensure successful project outcomes.
Business Development & Growth
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and increase revenue through additional services.
- Support new business pitches and proposals, leveraging industry expertise to win new accounts.
- Stay informed about industry trends and innovations, bringing fresh insights to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications
- 10-12+ years of experience in B2B marketing, brand development, and campaign execution, with a focus on large enterprise clients ($1B+).
- Strong track record of leading client relationships, driving marketing strategy, and managing execution.
- Ability to balance big-picture strategic thinking with a high level of detail in execution.
- Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen, with an understanding of how marketing drives growth for enterprise clients.
- Experience in business development and growing client relationships is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a remote work environment, managing projects independently while collaborating with a distributed team.
