Come join the QuickBooks Acquisition Marketing Team as the Head of Web Marketing & Strategy responsible for the growth of the QuickBooks suite of products via our website. As the leader of the web team, your responsibility is full ownership and management of the QuickBooks.com website driving aggressive growth both short term and long. This role requires strong cross-discipline leadership skills, as you will partner closely with our marketing technology, analytics, creative, finance, paid media, and search teams to deliver personalized, best in class experiences across desktop and mobile.

The QuickBooks Acquisition Marketing Team is seeking a seasoned Leader who has a proven track record in developing forward looking web strategies and driving high growth returns.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 10+ years of experience managing large scale web properties, preferably in ecomm or retail
  • Strong technical knowledge spanning AI based personalization, rapid testing platforms, CDPs, data capture/storage/processing, etc. and basic knowledge of media technology, tracking, data needs
  • Strong track record of bringing to life complex innovation initiatives from concept through deployment
  • Experience working with atomic design/web systems and in an agile environment
  • Skilled at understanding dynamic organizations, interdependencies, and develop project plans that navigate them
  • Customer first mentality able to bring outside-in perspective when problem solving
  • Great storyteller who can create a vision, build excitement, and bring people along in the journey
  • Able to distill and communicate complex concepts in understandable, relatable and executive friendly ways
  • Self-starter attitude who sees ambiguity as an opportunity
  • Skilled at analyzing diverse sets of data to develop insights and support business cases
  • Strong results orientation and decision making skills

  • Using customer insights and data to develop the vision and strategies for how we will achieve our one, three, and five year goals
  • Continuing to evolve the web capabilities embracing modern marketing approaches and leading with best in class experiences
  • Leading the development of the learning agenda and testing calendar in partnership with product marketing and analytics counterparts
  • Overseeing the deployment of rapid testing/optimizations and clearly communicating the results and implications to the broader organization
  • Developing necessary requirements and scopes with technical resources to deliver timely solutions (MVP, trade-offs, balance short- and long-term).
  • Working closely with finance and analytics teams to define KPIs and build business forecasts
  • Daily monitoring of dashboards to identify any performance anomalies or breakage and initiating appropriate investigation/analysis as needed
  • Partnering closely with the design team on web best practices, testing opportunities, and overall governance
  • Developing and deploying scalable initiatives including: personalization, dynamic social proof, sales assist, mobile first experiences, etc.
  • Driving the strategy for how to leverage information architecture, design, and messaging to present the Quickbooks suite of products as a unified ecosystem vs. collection of independent point solutions
  • Partnering with the search team to ensure the overall site is optimized to drive maximum organic search volume
  • Working with the media and integrated marketing team on developing cohesive site experiences and landing pages to support campaigns
  • Continually pushing for operational rigor and operational processes improvements to increase efficiency and capacity
